Job Summary

Conduct receiving, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify materials and products comply with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to implement quality requirements, support new product introductions, and drive supplier quality initiatives. Lead investigations of nonconformances and customer issues using root cause analysis, while developing and verifying corrective and preventive actions to enhance manufacturing performance. Analyze quality metrics and inspection results to identify risks, reduce defects, and improve product reliability. Support internal and external audits by maintaining quality records and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience
  • Experience supporting quality systems within a manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or other regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, quality management systems, and experience performing receiving, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement using structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data, identify trends, improve product and process performance, and apply statistical quality tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related business systems, along with the ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer at the time of hire

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or a similar quality certification
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and electronics manufacturing processes
  • Experience with ERP systems, including PeopleSoft, SAP, or equivalent enterprise systems
  • Experience supporting supplier quality activities, customer quality investigations, and corrective action initiatives
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt, or other continuous improvement training and experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and/or internationally as needed to support business requirements
  • This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check
