Job Summary
Assess non-conforming products and components, evaluate and contain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from initiation through closure, and coordinate corrective actions. Support supplier quality activities, investigate root causes of defects, and maintain compliance with internal and customer quality standards. Serve as a liaison between Production, Engineering, Quality, customers, and suppliers to prevent recurrence of issues. Apply mechanical and electrical engineering principles to drive continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of quality inspection, fault investigation, or non-conformance management
- Competent IT skills, including the use of standard business software and quality management systems
- Be self-motivated, professional, and demonstrate a positive attitude
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
- Be capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Communicate confidently and professionally with stakeholders at all levels, including customers and suppliers
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills
