Job Summary
Inspect product according to specifications and standards; document nonconformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions. Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements. Assist in 8D and 5Why investigations of issues; read and interpret drawings and determine the appropriate inspection method/equipment for product acceptance; use inspection equipment (ID/OD mics, calipers, and various gauges) to determine acceptance; initiate and complete all quality-related records and documents with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting
- Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply/inspect to requirements with minimal supervision
- Able to lift 30lbs
- Support PPAP sample inspection
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required
