Quality Technician - Quality Control | Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct sampling, product testing, and visual inspection of components and finished goods; identify nonconformances and ensure proper containment. Complete accurate, timely, and legible documentation of all inspection/testing data while maintaining quality records procedures. Participate in weekly production walk-throughs, on-floor audits, and continuous improvement objectives to ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements. Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to quality operations. Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes for medmix USA. Cover position on assigned night shift due to absences.
Required Qualifications
- Must be organized and can follow a systematic method of performing tasks and the ability to organize and direct a project to completion
- Must be self-directed and motivated to optimally utilize the available time to organize and complete expected work within given deadlines and reasonable work schedules
- Communication skills, both oral and written, as required to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization and to provide clear and concise reports and policies as needed
- Ability to effectively present information publicly
- Ability to work well with subordinates, peers and superiors in all departments
- May be required to cover position on their assigned shift due to absences for vacations, leave, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a regulated workplace preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent with education and experience
- Experience with injection molding processes, parameters, and troubleshooting is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality role preferred
- Proficiency in personal computers, especially word processing software, spreadsheets, presentation, and database software
- Ability to learn quickly and maintain the Quality Assurance metrics
- Knowledge of ISO standards or the ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge as required for system compliance
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and to work independently with minimal supervision
