Job Summary
Conduct inspection and testing for first articles, customer returns, and incoming raw materials using micrometers, calipers, and height gages. Interpret drawings and maintain records per Quality Management System requirements. Support the Control of Nonconforming Product process by ensuring proper segregation, identification, and disposition of affected items. Assist with problem identification, investigation, and resolution while performing product audits on production and inspection records. Work independently within a team environment to uphold quality standards. Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with sheet metal
- Basic math skills
- Blueprint reading / GD&T
- Ability to use measuring and test equipment
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment
