Job Summary
Quality Technician Night Shift located at the Centergate Facility in Tulsa, OK, responsible for inspecting the quality and performance of Company products from Receiving through fabrication to final test and customer acceptance against company, customer, and industry standards. Responsibilities include reading and understanding documents and drawings, coordinating outside customer inspections, ensuring hold points are met, preparing Nonconformity Reports, communicating engineering issues and solutions to production, monitoring welding and nondestructive testing methods (LPT, VT, UT), reviewing mill test reports and defect-rate records, maintaining product traceability, and performing internal and external audits for ASME, ISO, and supplier programs. Requires night shift hours (5am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays) and a strong emphasis on adherence to safety protocols and quality procedures. The role also expects proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Demonstrated ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to top management
- Demonstrated dependability and customer service attitude
- Technical Skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working experience with Weld Inspection in ASME (CWI is a plus)
- Minimum of Level II experience with methodologies such as Liquid Penetrant Testing, Visual Testing, Ultrasonic Testing.
