Quality Technician

Job Summary
Execute corporate and plant-specific Food Safety, Quality, and Laboratory requirements by calibrating lab and line equipment, collecting in-process and finished product samples, and conducting standardized qualitative and quantitative testing. Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination, identify deficiencies, and initiate proper follow-up or isolate non-conforming product. Ensure all parameters are adhered to and maintained throughout the facility while reviewing food safety records and participating in plant teams. Assist with batching chemicals and ingredients for production. Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days or nights) under pressure in a fast-paced environment, wearing required safety gear.
Required Qualifications
- Must read, write and communicate in English
- Must be able to work 12 hour shift (days or nights) on a rotating schedule
- Must follow GMP Policy - wear company issued shirt, hat, safety glasses, earplugs and hairnet in production areas
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment

- High School Diploma
- HACCP
