Quality Technician - Manufacturing - 3rd shift

Job Summary
Conduct essential testing, inspections, and documentation to ensure products meet customer specifications, food safety requirements, and internal quality standards. Partner with production teams to identify quality issues, inspect customer complaints for disposition, and perform laboratory testing including COF, tensile, and bond strength evaluations. Prepare data reports, Certificates of Analysis, and Certificates of Conformance while maintaining accurate quality records and trending results to recommend improvements. Support machine operators with quality questions and raw material issues, ensuring compliance with SQF and GMPs. Work the 3rd shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m., Sunday–Thursday) in Lenexa, KS, with overtime potential. Maintain complete and accurate quality records for all testing performed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform mathematical equations and conversions
- Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong team orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic office equipment
- Analytical thinker with the ability to learn new procedures and adapt to changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must follow written Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all applicable SQF programs
- Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, dynamic setting
- Exposure to inks and solvents, which may create strong odors in the plant
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
