Job Summary
Operate and monitor quality assurance testing for components and assembled products using equipment ranging from manual calipers to CMM and 2D/3D imaging systems. Perform sort and rework activities per work instructions, conduct gauge maintenance and calibration verification, and maintain measurement software systems. Collect data, generate quality reports, and support engineering in problem-solving while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Adhere to 6S procedures and health & safety protocols to uphold a zero-accident culture. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of production processes and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- At least one year experience within manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills (read, writing, and listening)
- Knowledge of problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Compliance with 6S standards and procedures
- Fulfill responsibilities in Health & Safety as defined by legislation and the company H&S program
- Support a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture
- Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-tasking
- Strong math and metrology technical skills
- When applicable, proficient in blueprint reading and good GD&T knowledge
- When applicable, ability to operate systems like CMM, 2D and 3D imaging devices
- College degree (or equivalent)
- Bilingual English and Spanish
