Quality Technician

Job Summary
Quality Technician responsible for customer quality and corrective actions, leading investigations, performing RCA/CAR analyses, coordinating cross-functional meetings, and serving as the primary contact for customer quality responses. Performs PPAP activities, maintains quality documentation, conducts inspections and metrology tasks (including Oasis vision systems), supports calibration, and participates in continuous improvement initiatives (5S/lean). Requires strong mechanical aptitude, detail orientation, proficiency with QA documentation, and the ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and customers to ensure product quality and compliance with quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical skills
- Experience with quality inspection, metrology equipment, and statistical process control (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of corrective action processes, PPAP requirements, and quality management systems (preferred but not required)
