Job Summary
Quality Inspector collaborates with Operations, Manufacturing, and Procurement to achieve quality objectives and minimize product disruptions, performing 100% and sampling inspections (first piece, receiving, roaming, and final), generating documentation (Certification of Conformance, material records), and reporting quality metrics. The role involves coordinating nonconforming material disposition with MRB, investigating root causes, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining document control across drawings, specifications, and records. Requires strong attention to detail, teamwork across functions, and proficiency with MS Office and interpreting technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related manufacturing experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- MS Office Products including Word & Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, specifications, and requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communicator capable of working through complex issues with peers, management, and multiple functions
- Desire and mindset to drive actions and projects to closure without being prompted
