Job Summary
Evaluate returned product failures to determine the cause of customer complaints and prepare technical reports using trend analysis. Perform inspection activities including troubleshooting and testing of non-conforming products during incoming, in-process, and final stages. Document non-conformance descriptions, assign control numbers, and identify field complaints for post-market surveillance reporting. Repair or replace components to reprocess devices and perform decontamination prior to evaluation. Participate in continuous improvement projects and assist with root cause analysis through experimental testing. Adhere to HIPAA requirements while executing all job duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience in the medical device industry
- AA degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electro-mechanical devices
- ASQ Quality Technician certification or equivalent
- Experience using an ERP system
