Quality Technician I Direct

Job Summary
Performs dimensional inspections using engineering drawings and blueprints; completes in-process and final inspections for parts and assemblies; identifies non-conforming materials for corrective action; supports ISO 9001, AS9100, and Nadcap compliance through audits and documentation; maintains a clean, organized work area and complies with safety standards. Requires proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment; strong math skills; ability to read blueprints; data entry and reporting abilities; and flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient using inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings
- Strong mathematical ability
- Strong computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, reports, word processing)
- Ability to safely operate relevant tools and equipment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and vision test for color perception
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Team-oriented with a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts when needed
