Quality Technician I - Bloomfield

Issues inspection reports on all shipped equipment and performs pre-shipment inspections of completed projects. Verifies overall equipment appearance, checks packing lists, and documents shipments using pictures. Assists the Quality Technician 2 in compliance with ASME section 8 Div. 1 code program and conducts in-house inspections including hydro-testing, NDE, weld quality, and incoming equipment checks. Coordinates QIR investigations, reports findings and root causes, and implements corrective actions. Monitors and verifies quality control requirements by auditing all equipment fabricated and refurbished at the Bloomfield Plant. Provides written reports of results and maintains knowledge of specifications. Travel when required to vendor facilities ensuring products meet specifications.
