Job Summary
Quality Technician I role in Abbott’s Electrophysiology division based in Minnetonka, MN. Responsible for ensuring evidence documentation complies with governing procedures, auditing processes (line verification or environmental conformity), and reviewing/verifying batch records and reports of nonconforming materials. Performs testing of samples with guidance, isolates nonconforming material, coordinates material quarantine, and inputs data into SAP, Windchill, and EPIQ. Maintains compliance with FDA regulations and Abbott’s Quality Management System, and collaborates across levels to protect patient safety and meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma, equivalent or at least 2 years of experience as a QA Technician I or areas related to quality control
- an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Some Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel basic to intermediate
- Some Basic math knowledge
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communications in the organization
