Quality Technician - First Article Inspection

Job Summary
Perform inspection activities for First Article Inspection assemblies, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and AFSI assembly drawings. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting AS9102 FAI verification, documenting inspection results, and resolving conformance issues with Engineering, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing staff. Ideal candidates will have two years of experience as a quality inspector, proficiency in measuring instruments, and skills in blueprint reading, documentation, and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with measuring using calipers, rulers, meters markers, tape measure, and other measuring instruments
- Two years of quality inspector experience
- Ability to read and interpret customer and internal drawings
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to create an AS9102 FAI Report
- Ability to create bubble charts
- Solid understanding of SAE AS9102, Aerospace First Article Inspection Requirements
- Ability to identify and document nonconformances
