Quality Technician - Entry

Job Summary
The Quality Technician – Entry inspects material at receiving, in-process, and final stages per work instructions, plans, and control plans using basic measurement tools; records results and maintains traceability. Supports containment of non-conforming material, escalates quality concerns, assists with start-up checks at the production line, and follows SOPs, 6S/EHS requirements, and defined processes. Participates in basic problem-solving, data collection, and training to progress toward increased responsibility; may work weekend and off-shift as required. Requires high school diploma or GED, basic metrology knowledge, reading prints and tolerances, and proficiency with basic computer tools. Emphasis on quality, disciplined data reporting, and adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read part prints and apply tolerances
- Ability to learn basic dimensional measurement and metrology practices
- Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and spreadsheets
- Basic problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production issues
- Ability to understand process changes, updates, and related work instructions within assigned areas
- Ability to understand and apply customer, industry, and regulatory requirements
