Job Summary
Quality Technician responsible for preparing products for nondestructive testing and post-test cleaning; performing Ultrasonic, Visual, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant testing; hardness testing; metallographic and related laboratory testing; dimensional inspection (including CMM-based methods); preparing test reports for customer review; maintaining calibration and certification records; performing calibrations of testing equipment; training others in NDT and dimensional inspection methods; assisting customer auditors; occasional travel to subcontractors or customers; overtime and shift flexibility may be required; requires High School diploma or equivalent with preferred Certificate or Associate's Degree in Nondestructive Testing, Metallurgical Fields, or Quality Assurance; prior NDT experience (UT/MT/PT/VT), hardness testing, and general QA experience are preferred; familiarity with QA documentation tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint); Equal Opportunity Employer.
