Job Summary
Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections to confirm products meet engineering drawings and specifications. Work directly on the production floor to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues in real time, utilizing precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Accurately document inspection data, support timely resolution of nonconformances, and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve processes and participate in Kaizen events. Maintain a safe, clean workspace and ensure compliance with industry standards. Requires an Associate degree in Manufacturing or related field, 2–5 years of experience, and hands-on tool proficiency. Salary range $21/hour to $24/hour with quarterly bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or production support
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools
- Knowledge of quality fundamentals (nonconformances, corrective actions, continuous improvement)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Effective communication and a collaborative mindset
- Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
- Background in metal fabrication or welding environments
- Experience performing inspections and supporting floor-level troubleshooting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in stainless steel fabrication, machining, or welding
- Familiarity with sanitary manufacturing or ASME BPE standards
