Job Summary
Quality Technician on Day Shift responsible for monitoring CCPs within manufacturing processes, ensuring food safety and product quality throughout production, and properly documenting and filing relevant logs. Ensures recipe guidelines are met, enforces food safety and worker safety practices, educates employees on quality expectations, collects product samples for the Quality lab, inspects in-process printing to ensure quality per customer specifications, identifies non-conformances for real-time correction, and collaborates with Operations on presses, slitter, and lamination for continuous improvement. Maintains timely, accurate paperwork on production lines.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of quality experience
- preferably within printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMPs (21 CFR 110/111/210/211)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shift 2-2-3-3 including weekends when scheduled
- Prior experience in the food environment is beneficial
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds
