Job Summary
Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment including pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, CMM, and GOM scanners to measure components against Engineering drawings with GD&T. Create, develop, and implement inspection processes and run part measurement programs using PC DMIS and Calypso software. Collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues, identify non-conformances, and assist with root cause analysis. Maintain document control and calibration records within the Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 and ITAR requirements. This role requires a U.S. security clearance and is located at the Centennial, Colorado facility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience working in a quality position
- Experience working in an AS9100 (or similar standard) manufacturing and inspection environment
- Experience writing programs and running CMM
- Experience in developing and implementing quality procedures and work instructions
- Proficient with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) read, write and interpret
- Drawing interpretation background
- Experience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Formal written and verbal communication with internal and external parties (customers and suppliers) as well as performing inter-company and external presentations
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
