Job Summary
Issue first piece inspections using standard measurement tools such as CMM, calipers, and micrometers. Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process materials and parts for non-conformities. Report inspection findings to appropriate departments and participate in Root Cause/5 Why troubleshooting meetings as needed. Adhere to company policies, MIOSHA requirements, and safety standards while maintaining a clean work environment. Report safety or quality concerns promptly. This third-shift role (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) supports Drake's automotive manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3rd shift availability (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
- Issue first piece inspection using standard measurement tools including CMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and profilometers
- Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities
- Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable
- Participate in Root Cause/5 Why and troubleshooting meetings as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Follow all safety and MIOSHA requirements
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Participate in training and meetings
- Follow all company Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Standards of Conduct policies
- Report safety or quality concerns in a timely manner
