Job Summary
Perform inspections and testing of manufactured products, using CMM and standard measurement tools; read and interpret blueprints with GD&T; ensure ISO QMS compliance and maintain calibration of testing equipment; manage APQP/PPAP documentation; participate in shop-floor audits and continuous-improvement activities; document results and develop reliable test data; support production in measurement of product and sample retention; analyze data and drive quality improvements while maintaining accurate quality records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience as a quality technician in manufacturing
- Working knowledge of statistical quality tools (trend charts, pareto diagrams, SPC, histograms, Cpk/Ppk)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T
- Ability to perform standardized quality checks using measurement tools and equipment (gages, calipers, CMM)
- Ability to maintain calibrated test equipment
- Ability to prepare test data and document results
- Experience with APQP processes and PPAP report development
- Experience identifying opportunities for quality improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with ISO, ITAR or TS quality standards
