Job Summary
Quality Technician II on 2nd shift responsible for inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished product using established sampling plans; determine setup of measuring equipment/fixtures; complete inspection/test documentation and AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) planning and reports; prepare CoC and CoA; interpret drawings and procedures to ensure conformance; collaborate with management/engineering to clarify quality standards; communicate status of quality activities across functions and document discrepancies to Product Engineers and Management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of Quality related work experience
- Ability to interpret engineered drawings
- Proficient in using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, and optical measurement systems
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal) to address internal and external customer issues/requirements
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
- Experience in ISO 9001 / AS9100 facility is a plus
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
