Job Summary
Quality Technician on 1st-3rd shift responsible for ensuring product quality through daily line audits, approving batches for production, and monitoring adherence to customer specifications and regulatory standards. Performs lab checks using standard procedures (examples include VC, Salt, Brix, pH, DS meter, TA, Vit C) and conducts pre-ops and preventive controls, with timely reporting of any nonconformances. Coaches production associates on line data collection and ensures food safety and quality across processes, reporting issues to appropriate personnel and following all company policies. Required Qualifications
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
- Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Pass all company testing
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Ability to process quality documentation accurately and within a timely manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills
