Job Summary
Inspect products and processes to ensure quality standards are met, including performing weld inspections, certifications, etches, and macro analysis. Read blueprints to verify parts are built to specifications and identify welding or production quality issues for communication with teams. Assist with quality audits, document control, work instructions, and defect tracking while inspecting shipping racks for damage and coordinating repairs. Prepare parts for packaging, labeling, and shipment, then complete shipping documentation to support operations. This full-time, stable role in Spartanburg, SC, requires a high school diploma, three years of manufacturing experience, forklift certification, and proficiency with precision measuring tools and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of manufacturing or quality experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers
- Experience using manufacturing equipment including plasma cutters, belt sanders, and similar tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Forklift certification
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
