Job Summary
Quality Tech responsible for ensuring food quality and safety in a fast-paced beverage-manufacturing environment. Duties include adherence to GMP/SQF standards, conducting analytical tests on raw materials and finished products, auditing finished products and packaging integrity, maintaining accurate records, ensuring SAP-based specifications are met, calibrating equipment, and performing production-line checks. Requires proficiency with Excel, Word, and SAP, familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM), and knowledge of SQF, GMP, and Six Sigma standards. Must read metric measurements, maintain laboratory cleanliness, and report out-of-spec results to leadership. Education: high school diploma or equivalent; experience in quality within manufacturing preferred; 21+ for co-packaging alcoholic beverages. - 1 – 3 years of experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment preferred
- In plants co-packaging alcoholic beverages, must be at least 21 years old
