Job Summary
Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including non-viable particle monitoring of controlled rooms, compressed air systems, and differential pressure testing. Perform growth promotion testing of culture media, sterilization studies, and validation protocols while maintaining control of laboratory materials, reagents, and waste inventories. Support laboratory and production sterilization autoclave qualification studies, complete assigned testing activities within established timelines, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment. Accurately document and analyze laboratory data to ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulations. Assist in training new team members and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related science with proficiency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, or another related Science discipline
- Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques and laboratory practices
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing and laboratory environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Basic knowledge of microbiological laboratory equipment and environmental monitoring techniques
- Ability to perform calculations involving percentages, proportions, volumes, and basic statistical concepts
- Proficiency in documenting and analyzing laboratory data
