Job Summary
Quality Tech position focused on heat-treat cell operations including part inspection to spec, heat treat measurement with hardness tester, ERP issue communication, and maintaining process control parameters. Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, monitoring throughput and quality targets, troubleshooting alarms, operating tools/equipment per procedures, and reporting malfunctions with emphasis on accuracy and collaboration with other departments. Requires high school or equivalent, manufacturing experience, and basic English communication; CQT preferred. Shift is afternoons (7:00pm–7:00am) with a 10% shift premium, located in Cambridge, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED)
- Quality Assurance Program (CQT) would be preferred
- 1 year manufacturing experience
- Heat treat/Metallurgical lab experience would be an asset
- Mechanical/technical aptitude an asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
