Job Summary
Oversee in-process and end-of-line inspections to ensure Vermeer product conforms to standards and specifications; document non-conformances and defects and request corrective action; coordinate internal inspection and testing; collaborate with production and other functions to investigate issues and support root cause analysis and problem-solving; communicate performance to production areas for improvement; perform guided inspection, ship hold, and hold-for-disposition processes; leverage blueprints and tolerances to evaluate product quality; requires attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office and CAD.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum six months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret standards, print tolerances, and production specifications
- Effective communication and relationship building with both internal and external customers
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, CAD and other software
