Job Summary
Monitor, inspect, and propose corrective measures for final products to meet established quality standards. Perform routine WIP and finished goods inspections, conduct data entry for scrap and audit efforts, and investigate internal and external rejects. Support Quality Engineers with tasks including FAI and pre-shipment inspections, collaborate with manufacturing personnel to resolve problems, and lead operational improvement activities using 5-Why and RCCA methodologies. Own and reinforce safety culture and core values while communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience and solid understanding of safety systems, safety culture and enforcement of safety rules and policies
- 2-5 years of experience in a quality control related role in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a job shop environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including 5-Why, DMAIC and other RCCA methodologies
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Operating and Quality Management Systems
- Commitment to upholding company culture and values
- Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and personal accountability
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
