Job Summary
As an on-site Quality Team Lead in Indianapolis, IN, you will ensure the Quality Team meets KPIs and complies with the Quality Plan and regulatory requirements, oversee CMM-based inspection of spare parts to Alfa Laval and military specifications, design quality inspection plans for manual hand-tool inspections, perform weld inspections per ANSI/ASNT CP-105, cross-train technicians on CMM and hand-tools, audit inspections and SOPs, forecast labor hours, and apply Lean Six Sigma methods to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across the quality function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar, trade school, or relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality related field
- Proficiency with hand measuring tools
- Basic knowledge of WMS and Movex
- Prior leadership experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Lean Six-Sigma improvement tools (5S, DMAIC, Kaizen) and SOPs
- Welding Inspector certification or Welders Workmanship Training certificate (preferred)
