Job Summary
Quality Team Advisor leads the quality team, planning, organizing, training, coaching and ensuring compliance with customer, company and governmental requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring customer and supplier specifications are followed, developing and reinforcing process-excellence principles with partners, interpreting customer requirements to plant production and support groups, establishing and auditing PCPs, CCPs and SOPs, reviewing incidents and determining corrective actions, and administering certification programs and document controls to support Food Safety and Food Quality Plans. Requires collaboration with leadership, travel up to 50%, and a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with 1+ years in Quality Assurance or Production and proven leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, dairy science, microbiology, biology, animal science or related field is required
- 1+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety or Production
- Proven leadership experience in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make good business decisions quickly
- Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities
- Internal Partners: Must be in current role a minimum of 2 years
- Ability to travel up to 50%
