Job Summary
Quality Systems & Warranty Manager leads quality systems, warranty performance, and continuous improvement at the Greenville, SC facility. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System to IATF 16949 and ISO standards, conducting internal, customer, and certification audits, standardizing processes across manufacturing sites, and training teams on APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC. Acts as primary customer contact for warranty and field quality, leads investigations, RCA, and corrective actions; analyzes warranty trends and KPIs; coordinates field returns and reporting; supports cost recovery and warranty cost reductions. Drives cross-functional continuous improvement projects with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality; utilizes 8D and other structured methodologies; provides leadership and development for Quality Systems, Warranty, and Field Quality personnel; reports performance metrics to senior leadership; travel across North America as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 7+ years of experience in automotive quality, warranty, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to lead audits, drive corrective actions, and improve quality performance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel throughout North America as needed.
