Job Summary
Quality Systems Manager leading audits and QMS modernization at a York, PA plant. Responsible for ensuring the Quality Management System conforms to ISO 9001, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations; leads internal and layered process audits, coordinates customer/regulatory/third-party audits, implements digital QMS solutions, develops KPIs/dashboards, provides QMS training, maintains document/change control and non-conforming material processes, manages CAPA and records retention, and supports continuous improvement to reduce COPQ, improve first pass yields, and ensure on-time delivery with suppliers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality auditing experience
- Experience supporting heavy industrial, automotive, aerospace, metal machining, or welding and fabrication environments
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and standards
- Experience working with ISO 9000, TS 16949, or AS 9100 quality standards
- Proficient in MS Office and quality data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality/product/process/system improvement teams
