Job Summary
The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of PFN’s Quality Management System (QMS). Key responsibilities include leadership in Self Improvement Planning (SIP), managing Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) plans, and performing periodic reviews of quality metrics. The role requires establishing customer relationships, investigating complaints, and defining customer needs in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates should possess a BS degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years in a technical manufacturing role, with knowledge in quality systems and auditing.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in an Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Business, or Science discipline.
- 5+ years in technical role in manufacturing environment desirable.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in usage and set-up of web-based applications and software packages.
- Experience in Internal and External Auditing against quality standards (ISO, EDANA, and/or GMP).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated technical, business, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, EDANA, and/or GMP).
- Skilled in statistics, problem solving, and procedure implementation.
- Exceptional competence and professionalism in interactions with executive management, customers, and vendors.
