Job Summary
Quality Systems Engineer at Jabil onsite in Salisbury, NC. Lead the Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015, establish and maintain the quality policy and measurable objectives, drive corrective actions, and oversee internal and supplier audits. Collaborate with site Leadership to ensure data-driven decisions, implement structured problem-solving (8D, RCA, FMEA, DMAIC), manage QMS documentation (processes, SOPs, Work Instructions, Quality Records), and integrate VoC into quality improvements and product roadmaps. Requires 5–8 years in Quality Engineering/Quality Systems and a Bachelor's in Engineering or Quality discipline; 2–3 years leading QMS; onsite day shift Monday–Friday; preferred certifications (CQE/CQA/Lead Auditor/Six Sigma). The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven insights, and a proactive quality culture within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Quality discipline
- 5–8 years in Quality Engineering or Quality Systems roles
- 2-3 years in leading Quality Management Systems
- Strong expertise in ISO 9001:2015 implementation and certification maintenance
- Proven experience with internal and supplier audits
- Data-driven mindset; Excel/Sheets mastery; BI tools preferred (Power BI, Tableau)
- Certifications (preferred): CQE, CQA, Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
