Job Summary
Ensure compliance of SOPs, GMPs, and regulatory requirements while leading the Quality Assurance Department for plant operations. Manage staff responsible for product batch testing, direct quality audits, and initiate investigations into specification results and process deviations. Oversee the hold and release of products, schedule corrective actions, and handle customer feedback regarding quality issues. Maintain comprehensive records for regulatory reviews and keep abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and food safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or ingredients manufacturing experience
- Well versed in the areas of cGMP GMP, HACCP, FDA requirements
- Minimum BS Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree
