Job Summary
Develop and maintain Quality Management System documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP standards. Monitor regulatory changes, conduct internal and external audits, and analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage customer and supplier complaints by leading investigations, ensuring root cause analysis, and coordinating cross-functional resolution efforts. Facilitate on-floor operational support, lead global quality processes such as PPAP and QIR for the Asia region, and align local systems with global corporate policies. Report QMS performance to top management and serve as the primary contact for certification bodies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in a field of study such as chemistry, business, accounting, engineering, etc.
- Have knowledge of chemical production process in manufacturing environment
- 2-6 years of quality management experience
- Demonstrates introductory understanding and ability and with guidance, applies competency in typical situations
- Able to design quality systems to meet customer expectations and internal needs
- New approaches and continuous improvement must be ongoing
- Good experience into customer & supplier audit
- Able to conduct training
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders
- Able to deal with situation proactively
- Occasionally overseas travel
- Weekly conference call
- Communicate closely with vendors and counterpart in China
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate in Quality Engineering is preferred
- 6 Sigma certified will be at advantage
