Job Summary
Quality Support Engineer responsible for supplier quality activities: act as the first point of contact for supplier-related production issues, drive containment and resolution, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to prevent defects and improve quality, support new product introduction including first article inspections and product verification, manage quarantine and corrective action tracking, and produce regular reports on supplier quality performance and trends. Demonstrates knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14001, 8D and 5 Whys, ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications, strong communication and proactive problem-solving, and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
