Job Summary
Monitors and maintains the quality function of the inspection lab, providing work direction for Quality Control technicians. Responsibilities include initial investigation and temporary countermeasures for non-conformances, guiding and training inspection technicians, ensuring consistent testing practices, and maintaining documents per department and TS 16949 requirements. Supervises employees in the Quality Department, conducting hiring, training, performance appraisal, and resolution of employee complaints.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
