Job Summary
Lead the daily operations of the Quality department, coordinating quality activities, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and product lifecycle activities while supervising the Quality Coordinators. Collaborate with R&D, Production, Purchasing, Packaging, Receiving, and other departments to support new products and product changes. Drive the quality framework and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. Read and sign applicable SOPs, participate in required meetings, and escalate concerns to the Quality Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or personnel management experience
- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience within dietary supplements, food, cosmetics, botanicals, or related regulated industries
- Experience managing employee performance, training, and workload allocation
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, including CFR 111, 117, 701, and applicable cGMP requirements preferred
- Experience with investigations, CAPAs, document control, training systems, and quality systems preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, QMS software, document control systems, and workflow management tools preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, ERP/QMS systems, and reporting tools required
