Job Summary
Quality Supervisor overseeing metrology and dimensional control for automotive manufacturing at OPmobility site in Huron. Responsible for managing the metrology process, ensuring accurate measurements and reporting, supervising Quality Technicians, calculating Gainshare per UAW standards, managing vacations and overtime, participating in New Launch quality planning, maintaining calibration and maintenance programs for test equipment, and enforcing quality and safety requirements. Leads MSA studies, supports stop-production authority when quality/safety issues arise, and ensures alignment with customer requirements and core tools.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Industrial, mechanical, chemical or related engineering)
- 3 to 5 years preferred in equivalent position with Automotive Quality background
- Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements
- Experience in people management
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote)
- Experience in Plastic Industry
- Operate/Experience in CMM, Portable Arm, Handheld gages, Optical Comparator and other tools necessary to verify product
- Understanding of Core Tools (MSA Requirements)
- QA Knowledge preferred
- SAP knowledge for EPOR and PO Management
