Job Summary
Lead quality team at Opava biscuit factory; ensure production complies with quality, hygiene and food safety requirements; supervise adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements; monitor product and process quality and propose improvements; handle complaints and consumer feedback; assess risks and decide on release or hold of non-conforming materials/products; contribute to new product introductions and process/technology improvements from a quality perspective; prepare and deliver training on hygiene, quality and safety; collaborate on internal and external audits and inspections; regularly report quality results and improvement activities to management; seek opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce risks.
Required Qualifications
- university degree in food science, chemistry, technology, veterinary science or related field
- at least 5 years of experience in quality or food safety in a manufacturing company
- at least 3 years of people leadership
- strong knowledge of quality systems, hygienic standards and food industry legislation
- ability to analyze problems, identify causes and make decisions under pressure
- experience with audits and corrective action management
- English proficiency (spoken and written)
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- valid driving license B and willingness for occasional business travel
