Job Summary
Review, investigate, and communicate internal and external customer complaints using ETQ systems. Oversee ETQ database administration and maintain X-rite computerized color control systems for De Soto manufacturing. Analyze statistical data in a six-sigma environment and prepare monthly quality production reports. Lead internal HACCP teams and prepare the plant for SQF, YUM, FSC, PEFC, and SFI audits. Solve critical issues with pre-press and press personnel, including sheet-fed press problems, and travel to customer facilities to evaluate printing and cup forming operations.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starter with ingenuity and the ability to work independently in completing large assignments
- Extensive background and understanding of statistical processes and methods
- Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheet analysis of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and SPC software systems
- Strong mathematical skills
- Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering preferred) or equivalent 3-5 years relevant experience in the quality, food, food packaging or printing related fields
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer expectations and requirements
- Strong written, oral, and listening skills
