Quality Supervisor

Supervise, plan, and coordinate final audit, layout, NDT, calibrations, and inspection operations to maintain production schedules and quality standards. Ensure quality of work, efficient material and workflow, and proper application of production methods while selecting and training employees in departmental operations. Evaluate work performance, counsel employees, and organize assignments to expedite schedules and obtain efficient results. Maintain close observation over operations, providing guidance on cleaning, finishing, and inspection methods. Analyze equipment or machine problems, quality issues, and production delays to minimize downtime, coordinating repairs with the maintenance department as required. Maintain adequate supplies of raw materials, production supplies, and tools, and keep related inventory records. Enforce proper use of safety equipment, maintain departmental housekeeping, and coach employees to reinforce safe work practices. Maintain open communications with employees and other departments to resolve problems, promote morale, and ensure conformance with company policies and regulations.
