Job Summary
Oversee the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, and procedures ensuring compliance with local, federal, and external standards. Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues while participating in pharmacy inspections with agencies like the FDA, NABP, and DEA. Monitor microbiological performance through data gathering and statistical reporting, assist in nonconformance investigations, and support validation work as assigned. Collaborate with the Corporate Quality department to write and implement Standard Operating Procedures, attend quality department meetings, and deliver training based on identified needs. Document review of batch records, CAPAs, and deviations is required, alongside special projects assigned by the Quality Manager or Chief Quality and Strategy Officer. This role involves gowning for ISO 5/7/8 areas and handling laboratory chemicals with safety precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred) in science, or similar
- At least three years of practical experience of in a Quality role in a regulated facility (pharmacy, hospital, pharmaceutical, medical device)
- The ideal candidate would show a progression in various Quality roles within the industry or similar industry
- Must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and effectively direct the work of others
- Proficiency in technical writing
