Job Summary
Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians while developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards. Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints by analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems and collaborate with production to implement corrective and preventive actions. This role supports partner organizations in Allegan, MI, within the West Michigan manufacturing community.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB)
- Experience with advanced quality planning (e.g., APQP, PPAP)
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with ISO 13485 or AS9100 quality management systems
