Job Summary
Operate the Quality Management System by supporting compliance with ISO 17025 standards through documentation control, audit readiness, and routine quality assurance activities. Interpret internal quality documents for laboratory personnel, prepare and maintain controlled documents including SOPs and work instructions, and manage training matrix records to support onboarding. Compile monthly quality metrics, monitor proficiency testing orders, and conduct root cause analysis for non-conformance investigations to develop corrective actions. Review routine quality records for accuracy, coordinate equipment calibration schedules, and support internal and external accreditation audits by gathering necessary documentation. Maintain supplier records and ensure perpetual readiness to respond to queries from clients, staff, and co-workers. Requires occasional domestic travel (up to 5-10%) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Food Science.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science or related scientific field
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or a laboratory role
- Intermediate to expert MS Office Suite skills
- Requires occasional domestic travel (up to 5-10%) to other Eurofins sites
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with a variety of regulatory guidelines (ISO) and QC/QA p & GxP programs
- Knowledge of chemistry techniques an advantage
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
