Job Summary
Lead quality and safety initiatives by conducting investigations into quality incidents, customer complaints, non-conformances, and safety incidents, while driving root cause analysis and corrective actions. Manage cross-functional teams to build systems that maintain high standards for quality, safety, and operational performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Engage directly with production teams, customers, auditors, and executive leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced leader with proven work managing quality and safety programs (manufacturing environment preferably)
- Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture, align initiatives with organizational goals, and influence decision-making at the executive level
- Hands-on and approachable leader who is present within the facility and comfortable engaging directly with production teams
- Strong problem solver with expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and preventive measures
- Customer-focused professional capable of handling quality concerns, audits, investigations, and difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism
- Effective communicator who can build credibility and trust with employees, management, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
